Welcome, reader! My name is Kaiyuh and this is my blog. I am currently a student at a university in Alaska, my home state. I am getting a BA in psychology. I also live with schizophrenia. It has not been an easy road (whose road is?), but it has been worth it. I am also healing from psychiatric institutionalization, after spending ten years in and out of hospitals and a nearly three year stint in a state hospital. I made it out, and I celebrate this everyday. I am engaged to my best friend and soulmate, whom I will call C. He’s a lot of the reason I am still here, along with my parents.
